Sworn translations accepted by Italian courts, notaries, universities, and government offices. Certified under Italian law for use in official proceedings.
A certified translation in Italy is a specific legal product. It is not simply a high-quality translation with a stamp on it. The translator personally declares, before an Italian court or notary, that the translation faithfully represents the original document. This declaration has legal weight and makes the translation admissible in official proceedings.
We handle certified translations of birth and death certificates, marriage documents, criminal records, university degrees and transcripts, powers of attorney, court judgments, contracts submitted to Italian public administrations, and identification documents. If your specific document type is not listed here, contact us to confirm.
The document arrives with the translated text, a signed declaration by the certified translator, and the date of certification. For documents going abroad that require an apostille under the Hague Convention, we can also coordinate that process through the appropriate Italian authority.
Italian prefectures, consulates, courts of appeal, and university admission offices all accept our certified translations. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs also accepts certified copies for documents submitted as part of visa or citizenship applications.

All files are delivered digitally by email in the format of the original document. For certified translations, the signed certification statement is included as a separate document.
