Contracts, powers of attorney, corporate documents and cross-border legal correspondence. Handled by translators with legal backgrounds in both the source and target jurisdictions.
Legal translation requires more than language fluency. A translator handling a contract between an Italian S.r.l. and a German GmbH needs to understand the corporate structure on both sides, the different interpretation traditions for contracts in civil law versus common law systems, and how specific clauses translate in practice rather than just in words.
We handle commercial agreements, shareholders agreements, joint venture documents, non-disclosure agreements, employment contracts adapted for foreign jurisdictions, articles of incorporation, and correspondence between foreign legal counsel and Italian parties.
Notarial translation is a specific subset. Notarial acts in Italy include property deeds, marriage agreements, company constitutions, and formal declarations. When these need to be used abroad, or when foreign notarial documents need to be used in Italy, the translation has to accompany the certification process. We work alongside notaries directly when required.
For M&A transactions, we handle due diligence documents, representations and warranties, disclosure letters, and condition satisfaction notices. Confidentiality agreements are a standing requirement for projects of this type, available on request before any material is shared.
"We relied on immediatetranslations for the cross-border acquisition. Not one document was returned for correction." - Corporate legal team, Brescia
All files are delivered digitally by email in the format of the original document. For certified translations, the signed certification statement is included as a separate document.
